How can we automate our warehouse until we get it bar coded?

Bar coding warehouse locations is included in the core Latitude implementation.  The system provides for the creation of bar coded shelf and bin labels that uniquely identify each bin location.  Bar coded stock number labels can also be created for bins containing non-bar coded parts.  With insight into your warehouse operations, PathGuide recommends the best alternatives for location labeling and works closely with you in the initial phase of WMS installation.

We receive material that is not bar coded, it this an obstacle?

No.  Items received without bar codes can be easily labeled at the point of receiving.  Latitude allows items to be bar coded on the fly as needed.

Can we use our existing RF terminals with the Latitude WMS?

The Latitude system works with contemporary and (most) earlier RF devices from Intermec and Symbol Technologies, a division of Motorola.  For more information consult PathGuide as to specific hardware product model numbers of equipment which are compatible with Latitude.

What is the price of the Latitude warehouse management system?

This depends on many factors, including the warehouse size, whether branches are involved, the number of warehouse employees, the type of transactions you wish to automate in the warehouse etc.  Contact PathGuide for a quotation to fit your requirements.

How does PathGuide approach systems implementation?

Once you have ordered our software services, PathGuide arranges an RF site survey to determine your hardware requirements. Following the survey, we hold a 3-day intensive training Warehouse Workshop for key individuals at PathGuide's headquarters in Mukilteo, WA.

We suggest that Latitude be implemented into your system in two phases:

Phase 1 - Latitude Installation and onsite training during live operation

This phase is typically limited to receiving and bar code labeling of bin locations. After phase 1 training is complete, PathGuide continues remote support.

Phase 2 - Latitude Implementation and onsite training

This phase occurs as all the other Latitude processes are brought on line.  Actual order picking, put away, cycle counting, and other modules as specified are performed with the PathGuide trainer(s) present to offer guidance, answer questions, and help with exceptions.

Post Implementation

PathGuide maintains a highly skilled, professional support group which can be contacted through our toll-free telephone number, by e-mail, or via a pager after normal working hours.  This support staff works closely with PathGuide's software engineers to solve any customer problem that may arise.
